Time-series data of physical & biological oceanography, ocean current velocities, nutrient biogeochemistry, molecular biology, and carbon/particle export were obtained from mooring HG-EGC-8 in the Fram Strait from August 2022 to July 2024 as part of the Helmholtz infrastructure program Frontiers in Arctic Marine Monitoring (FRAM) legacy and the long-term monitoring program at AWI Hausgarten. The mooring was deployed during RV Polarstern expedition PS131 (ATWAICE) and recovered during PS143/2 (FRAM/Hausgarten). The original plan was to recover this mooring during PS136 (FRAM/Hausgarten) in 2023, but local sea ice conditions did not allow for a safe operation. The attached archive contains raw data files of two Seabird SBE37 MicroCATs (nominal depths: 52m, 505m; sampling interval 1h), three AADI Seaguard current meters (nominal depths: 59m, 508m, 984m; sampling interval 1h), one Wetlabs ECO PAR sensor (nominal depth: 49m; sampling interval 1h), one Wetlabs ECO Triplet fluorometer (nominal depth: 49m; sampling interval 2h), one Satlantic SUNA nitrate sensor (nominal depth: 49m; sampling interval 4h), one Sunburst SAMI-pCO2 sensor (nominal depth: 49m; sampling interval 1h) and one Sunburst SAMI-pH sensor (nominal depth: 49m; sampling interval 3h). The mooring also included one McLane RAS water sampler (nominal depth: 49m) and one K.U.M. sediment trap (nominal depth: 501m). Auxiliary information, such as sensor calibration sheets, mooring diagrams, and schedule files, is also provided, if applicable. Additional note: the SAMI-pH sensor was flooded, and no data is available. The ECO Triplet fluorometer was configured incorrectly, and almost no data is available. The original plan was to recover this mooring during PS136
The file HG-EGC-8.zip contains all available sensor raw data from the mooring HG-EGC-8. The structure of the unzipped folders is mooring->sensor/sampler type->serial number->instrument files. All instruments were synchronized to UTC before deployment, and the offset after the recovery is supplied in the respective instrument folder, if available. The archive also contains the sensor calibration sheets/files and relevant sampler schedule files, if available.
