CryoEM France BAG

DOI

The cryoEM France BAG currently groups together 17 PIs from institutes across France (Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Lyon, Strasbourg and Bordeaux). The BAG is instrumental for these groups to have regular access to a high-resolution 300kV cryo TEM, as many do not have access to these microscopes in house. Since its establishment, the cryoEM France BAG has led to many publications in high impact journals (PNAS, Nat. Comm., Science, Nucleic Acid Research). This year we have recruited one more PI (team Ung). The proposal groups together many subjects in fundamental research, including transcriptional and translational control (teams Weixelbaumer, Mechulam, Plisson Chastang, Innis), viruses and their infection mechanisms (teams Goulet, Jones/ Reguera), proteins involved in cell transport and motility (teams Houdusse/Paganin, Lambert, Schmidt), cell signalling (teams Maisonneuve, Mourey), bacterial infection mechanisms (teams Krasteva, Terradot-Piot) and enzymology (team Cioci, Ung).
