Om een representatief beeld te krijgen van ervaren discriminatie in Nederland is een enquête gehouden onder groepen van verschillende herkomst (Turkse Nederlanders, Marokkaanse Nederlanders, Surinaamse Nederlanders, Antilliaanse Nederlanders, Joden, mensen uit Midden- en Oost-Europese landen, autochtonen, overige niet-westerse allochtonen, overige westerse allochtonen en LHBTers).
