R-Skripte zur Masterarbeit "Ereignisbasierter Bodenabtrag in einem erosionsanfälligen landwirtschaftlichen Einzugsgebiet: Abweichungen zwischen ABAG-Modellierung und Referenzmessungen"

DOI

This repository contains the R scripts used for the analyses presented in the master's thesis. A README file describing the project structure and software requirements is included.

Event-based soil erosion in an erosion-prone agricultural catchment: Deviations between ABAG modelling and reference measurements.

(TU Wien, 2026)

This repository contains the R scripts developed as part of the master's thesis on event-based soil erosion in an erosion-prone agricultural catchment. The scripts were used to preprocess geospatial and monitoring data, calculate event-based soil loss using the ABAG model, derive sediment delivery ratios (SDR), and compare modelled soil loss with event-based reference sediment loads. The analyses were carried out for 49 rainfall events in the Oberndorferbach catchment (Upper Austria).

Data availability:This repository contains the analysis code only. The input data consist of publicly available geospatial datasets (e.g. DEM, Sentinel-2 imagery, soil maps, INVEKOS field boundaries and precipitation data) and project-internal monitoring data. The event-based reference sediment load measurements used for model validation cannot be shared publicly because they originate from an internal research project. Publicly available input data can be obtained from their respective providers.
