Hadal trench is an extreme environment, whereas hadal amphipods could survive there and become the dominant species. Based on the NGS, the adaptive mechanisms of hadal amphipods have been studied in our study which could shed light upon the convergent strategies different hadal species adopted to live in the greatest depth.
