This proposal is a continuation of our long-term project aiming to understand magnetism of rare earth intermetallics. Five R5Pd2In4 (R = Tb – Tm) indides are intended to be investigated by means of powder neutron diffraction in order to resolve their magnetic structures in the function of temperature. These compounds have complex magnetic structures in which the magnetic rare earth atoms occupy three nonequivalent positions. Preliminary bulk magnetic measurements suggest complex magnetic properties which change with increase of temperature.
