Gonad maturity stages of Calanus propinquus in the Southern Ocean

Gonad maturation stages were separated modified after Runge (1985). One new stage (Gonad stage, semi-spent) with spent oviducts still containing a few eggs in some unarranged rows has been added. For further information see Schnack-Schiel and Hagen (1995) and Schnack-Schiel et al. (1991).
