Sub-bottom profiler transect across the pockmark field.during HEINCKE cruise HE471

DOI

Sub-bottom profiler transect (Innomar SES-2000 medium onboard R/V Heincke) across the pockmark field. A second reflector below the seafloor has been identified as the upper limit of Pleistocene deposits in combination with core CelticExplorer2011_45VC. No pockmarks are observed in the bathymetry where the thickness of the overlying Holocene deposits exceeds ~1m.
