Results of conducted Interviews and questionnaires with Architects about Compliance checking during early stages of design development in Germany. 9 architects participated in this Preliminary study from different architectural companies in Germany (data of names of the companies and people names is anonymous). In the dataset there are 2 folders: "Raw data" (The data that was gotten during case study) and "Processed data" (data that was gotten as a result of analyzing and processing of raw data). In the "Raw data" folder there are 3 files: Preliminary_study_questions - questions that we asked architects to answer about architectural process in Germany (about different stages: which calculations are being made, which regulatory documents are being used, which specialists are being asked for consultations; time distribution between different tasks during architectural project, desired functionality for the Copilot (that automates compliance checking and suggestion generation)), Preliminary_study_responses - file with responses to the questions, Preliminary_study_responses_visual - file with responces in visual representation (automatically generated plots by google forms) . In the "Processed data" folder there is file with the result of analysis of raw data. Results were analyzed and finalized in an excel sheet by category of questions with generated plots for final information representation.
