oyster gill microbiome under ocean acidification

We exposed adult oysters (Crassostrea virginica) to CO2-induced ocean acidification (400 ppm vs. 2800 ppm) for 80 days. At six timepoint throughout the exposure experiment, we measured the oyster extrapallial fluid pH and sampled the gills for microbial analysis using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing.
