Positions and characteristics of tracer particles in the Ain River channel (2013)

DOI

1063 tracer particles were equipped with radio-frequency Passive Integrated Transponders (PIT tags) and released in the Ain River channel in November 2013. We deposited ten patches of ~ one hundred particles onto the surface of the Terre Soldat left bank and the adjacent riverbed. Since the tracers seeded near the right bank remained on site during the field surveys 2014-2017, we removed patches number 4 and 5 from the tracer travel distance and trajectory analysis. Thus, this dataset describes 862 seeded tracers.
