miRNA Characterization in Antarctic fish

Using RNAseq of small RNA libraries isolated from the gill tissue of the Antarctic fish Trematomus bernacchii we have characterized the termal sensitivity of miRNA homologues in these highly stenothermic fish. Overall design: Small RNA libraries were sequenced from the gill tissue of four biological replicates per experimental treatment (-1.5 C or +4 C) per acclimation time point (7d, 28d, 56d).
