STROBE Checklist for a Protocol Paper describing the VIVALDI Social Care Research Database. This will be set in care homes for older people in Englabd. It will link routinely collected data belonging to residents in participating care homes in order to describe the burden of infection, vaccination rates, antimicrobial prescribing, and health outcomes in this population. This is a collaboration between UCL, the Outstanding Society, and Care England and is funded by the UK Health Security Agency.
