Raw output from 20th century Pacific Pacemaker experiments with NorESM1_ME

DOI

This data set contains raw output from the Norwegian Earth System Model version 1 (NorESM1-ME). The CNTRL is a fully coupled 20th century historical ensemble with transient external forcing. CNTRL_ext is an extension of CNTRL into to the 21st century. TAUOCN-PAC_ext is similar to CNTRL expect that the Indo-Pacific Ocean is forced by daily momentum flux anomalies from reanalysis, and otherwise fully coupled. TAUOCN-TROPPAC and TAUOCN-XTROPPAC are similar to TAUOCN-PAC_ext, except that momentum flux anomalies are only prescribed over the tropical or extratropical Pacific Ocean, respectively. N1850AERCNOC_f19_g16_CMIP5forcings_01 is a preindustrial control simulation of the same model. N1850AERCN_f19_g16_CNTRL is the pre-industrial control simulation from where CNTRL is initialized. This dataset also includes the momentum flux anomalies (uflx, vflx, taux, tauy) used to force the pacemaker experiments. See Svendsen et al.
