Microbiome analysis of the micorbial mats that thrive on the rock surfaces around deep-sea hydrothermal vent

Electric discharge is widespread on the seafloor in hydrothermal fields, and it is believed that microbial electrosynthesis could be occured on the surrouding rocks. Microbiome analysis of the micorbial mats were conducted.
