Simulation results of 2 EMICs for marine reservoir age determination using 14C during the last 55 kyr

In order to improve our understanding of the calibration curves which are underlying any radiocarbon dating of carbon-containing material over the last 55 kyr we performed simulations with the 2 Earth system model of intermediate complexity (EMICs) LOVECLIM and Bern3D, which have then been compared with other models and data. The simulation results focus on marine surface reservoir age, but deep ocean ages are also included. Furthermore, global mean sea surface temperature and the strength of the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation are also included in the simulated time series. Results contain time series and surface plot for the time windows 02, 16 and 20 kyr BP.
