Microthermometry measurements of stalagmite the Rei do Mato stalagmite REI 7-2

This dataset presents a cave paleotemperature reconstruction over the last glacial termination from stalagmite REI 7-2 from Rei do Mato Cave in Minas Gerais State, central-eastern South America (19.50°S, 44.28°W, 800 masl).Microthermometric measurements were performed on a Linkam THMSG600 heating/cooling stage attached to an Olympus BX51 microscope equipped with a 100x long-working-distance objective (Olympus LMPLFLN 100x/0.8) and a Leica DFC350 FX digital camera for visual observation. Each cave temperature represents the average Th∞ of ~40 individual fluid inclusions. Outliers were excluded from the statistical analysis using a 4-MAD criterion.
