During the Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) expedition, ambient total suspended aerosol particles (TSP) were collected on polycarbonate filters (pore size 0.8 µm) for offline chemical and microphysical analyses. Each filter was sampled for approximately one week and stored frozen until analysis. This study reports atmospheric concentrations of both free (DFCHOaer) and combined carbohydrates (CCHOaer). Monosaccharides were quantified after acid hydrolysis of the combined carbohydrates. Analyses were conducted at the Atmospheric Chemistry Department (ACD) of the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) in Leipzig using high-performance ion exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD). Filter sampling during the MOSAiC drift was carried out by the ATMOS team. Filter sampling during the MOSAiC drift was conducted by the ATMOS team, with special acknowledgment to Amélie Kirchgaessner, Lauriane Quéléver, Ivo Beck, Markus Frey, and Manuel Dall'Osto.
