This dataset contains the material characterization data for the related publication as well as pictures, figures and synthetic procedure information.

The data is provided in two separate folders, with the folder titled Daten_DaRUS containing the data generated at Heidelberg University and the folder SE-EC Daten_DaRUS containing the data generated at Stuttgart University.

The folder Daten_DaRUS contains sub-directories, which are labeled according to the contents: -DMA_Data: Contains all data related to dynamic mechanical analysis; Software used in the generation of the files: Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Word; Origin; Trios (TA Instruments). -Figures: Contains figures used in the publication, as well as the powerpoint file used to create the figures. Software used in the generation of the files: Microsoft Powerpoint. -FTIR_Data: Contains all data related to FT-IR spectroscopy; Software used in the generation of the files: Origin; Jasco Spectra Manager Spectroscopy Software, Microsoft Excel. -NMR_Data: Contains all data related to NMR spectroscopy; Raw data aquired using Bruker Spectrometer and supplied in the according file format; Data processed using MestReNova. -Procedures: Contains all data related to experimental procedures; Software used in the generation of the files: ChemDraw Professional. -Table: Contains the powerpoint file used to generate the table presented in the manuscript; Software used in the generation of the file: Microsoft Powerpoint. -UVVis_Data: Contains all data related to UV-Vis spectroscopy; Software used in the generation of the files: Origin; Jasco Spectra Manager Spectroscopy Software; Microsoft Excel.

The folder SE-EC Daten_DaRUS contains the data relating to spectro-electrochemical and electrochemical measurements, as well as images of the printed materials presented in the publication. Software used in the generation of the measurement files: Origin; Pictures supplied in .jpg format.
