Data Package for "Social Sustainability Approaches for Software Development: A Systematic Literature Review"

DOI

This is the Research Data Package showing the Data Synthesis Analysis conducted based on Thematic Analysis. The abstract of the review is: "Social aspects in software sustainability refer to the impact of the software on the broader social and societal context. It includes considerations such as accessibility, equity, inclusion, diversity, and ethical and human values. To achieve software sustainability, developers must adopt practices and tools that support this dimension. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in incorporating social sustainability into the software development process. This literature study investigates approaches to social sustainability that can be integrated into software development. We extracted and analyzed data from 19 studies through thematic syntheses. The results include a list of recommended support tools based on the social aspects and goals for reaching software sustainability. Considering social aspects in software sustainability ensures that the software is not only technically sustainable but also socially responsible."
