Raw bathymetry data were collected using the ship's own Kongsberg EM 712 multibeam echosounder during the RV HEINCKE cruise HE629 RoboLeaks. The cruise took place between 2023-10-03 and 2023-10-12 (Stavanger, Norway - Bremerhaven, Germany). The primary goal was to test MARUM autonomous under-water equipment. Data were recorded in the EEZs of Norway (Stavanger fjord area) and Denmark (Skagerrak strait of the North Sea), to provide bathymetry maps for planning of AUV dives. Data are unprocessed and therefore contain incorrect depth measurements (artifacts). Sound velocity profiles (SVP) were collected prior to the bathymetry survey in every working area, and are integrated into raw files. Data can be processed e.g. with the open source software package MB-System (Caress, D. W., and D. N. Chayes, MB-System: Mapping the Seafloor, http://www.mbari.org/products/research-software/mb-system/, 2022).
