Mesophotic Marine Algae Associated Fungi

Mesophotic reefs are understudied due to inaccessibility. This is the first study to document the fungi that inhabit these unique ecosystems. We sequenced fungal ITS from macro-algae samples collected at mesophotic (75-100m depth) reef sites in Hawaii.
