Heterotrophic bacterial community associated with Prochlorococcus sp. RSP50

The aims of this study were to identify the heterotrophic bacteria associated with Prochlorococcus sp. RSP50 and assess the dynamic responses of this non-axenic culture to experimental warming using the metabolic theory of ecology (MTE) and temperature-size rule (TSR) frameworks.
