The data consists of Varenne river water temperature since 1999 collected for the Environmental Research Observatory (ORE) on Diadromous Fish in Coastal rivers (DiaPFC). ORE DiaPFC is a research infrastructure focused on studying the influence of human-induced and environmental changes (mainly agriculture and climate). The River Varenne is a tributary of the Arques river. It is 39,9 km long and has a mean slope of 0,32%. It drains a basin of 360 km2 and flows north-west from Saint-Martin-Osmonville and ends into the Arques river at Arques-La-Bataille. The mean flow is 3,5 m3/s.
