Swath sonar bathymetry during METEOR cruise M54/2 with links to multibeam raw data files

DOI

Multibeam sonar system was ATLAS Hydrosweep DS-2. Data are unprocessed and may contain outliers and blunders and should not be used for grid calculations and charting projects without further editing. The raw multibeam sonar data are provided in ATLAS SURF format (.sda/.six). 128 files are compressed with GZIP. One dataset contains a measurement period of four hours. ATLAS SURF files can be processed using the software packages CARIS HIPS/SIPS or with the open source software package MB-System.
