This data project provides the full analytical documentation and materials for the replication of the study “Trusting during the pandemic. Social trust, Political confidence, Trust in scientists, and COVID-19 Mortality: A Cross-National European Study.” It includes all relevant metadata, datasets, analytical code, and outputs required to reproduce the original findings. The data project contains the harmonized data drawn from the European Social Survey (Round 10) and national-level indicators, as well as the complete syntax used to estimate the multivariable regression models assessing the effects of social, political, and scientific trust on COVID-19 mortality across 30 European countries. In addition to the core replication materials, the data project incorporates all figures and tables presented in the article, alongside supplementary files featuring extended analyses, robustness checks, and model diagnostics that complement and validate the primary results. By providing transparent access to all analytical components, this data project aims to enhance reproducibility, facilitate methodological scrutiny, and support further comparative research on the multifaceted role of trust in shaping public health outcomes during global crises.
