Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kakšne zaloge socialnega in človeškega kapitala imajo študentje ter kakšne so njihove bralne navede. Poleg tega anketa vsebuje vprašanja, s pomočjo katerih smo ugotabljali motivacijo študentov kulturologije za podiplomski študij kulturologije. Relevantni avtorji konceptov socialni in človeški kapital so Pierre Bourdieu, James S. Coleman, Robert D. Putman.

Intention of research was to find out quantity and quality of student's social and human capital and their reading habits. Beside that questionnaire included questions related to motivation of students of cultural study for postgraduate study of cultural studies. Relevant authors of concepts of social and human capital are Pierre Bourdieu, James S. Coleman, Robert D. Putman.
