Test of vacuum environment for a split crystal LLL interferometer

DOI

We propose to test the operation of a monolithic triple Laue interferometer under vacuum. The purpose is to study the impact on interferometer operation in general. On a longer time scale this proposal is a preparation study to develop a split crystal neutron interferometer. Since neutron interferometer are highly sensitive to changes in the experimental environment any global change of operation needs to be studied and validated.
