Seagrass leaf microbiome associated with seagrass wasting disease (SWD, 16s amplicon sequencing)

We examined the dynamics of bacterial communities associated with diseased specimens of Zostera muelleri using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing by comparing seagrass wasting disease (SWD) lesion-associated assemblages with those from adjacent, but asymptomatic seagrass tissues, and healthy tissue.
