Debris-flow Event Series and Repose Times for 48 Torrents from the European Alps

Debris-flow event series and derived repose times (time between to consecuitive debris-flows) from 48 steep, alpine headwater catchments (torrents) from the European Alps. The literature catalogue was derived from scientific and technical literature and consists of 23 catchments. The remaining 25 catchments were compiled from the Austrian torrential event catalogue, considering only catchments with at least 10 debris-flow events, documented since the year 1850.
