Gridded annual anthropogenic emissions of 3 greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, N2O) and 9 air pollutants (NOx, CO, VOC, SO2, NH3, benzene, PM2.5, PM10, BC) for the city of Zurich in 2022, as prepared for the H2020 project ICOS Cities PAUL Pilot Applications in Urban Landscapes, and described in deliverable 1.2 (https://fileshare.icos-cp.eu/s/3ksc9Jiscqw4nWo). This dataset is based on a detailed inventory of point, line and area sources called MapLuft produced by the city of Zurich (see https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/geodaten/download/Emissionskataster_Luftschadstoffe_und_Treibhausgase). The data from the MapLuft inventory has been aggregated to the 14 GNFR sectors and gridded to a 100x100 meter resolution grid. CO2 emissions from fossil and biogenic (e.g. wood burning) emissions are reported separately. The file also provides fields of the total over all source sectors. Road traffic emissions are divided into cars, light-duty, heavy-duty, and two-wheelers. CO2 emissions from human respiration (residents and employees) are reported under sector GNFR_O. The data set is provided in the Swiss coordinate system (https://www.swisstopo.admin.ch/en/the-swiss-coordinates-system). Latitudes and longitudes of grid cell centers and edges are provided as well.
