Lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (LADCP, 300 kHz) current measurements collected during MARIA S. MERIAN cruise MSM83

DOI

During Maria S. Merian cruise MSM83 station-based vertical profiles of horizontal current velocity were measured using a pair of 300-kHz-ADCPs lowered with the CTD/rosette. The major objective of the cruise was to investigate the strength and the intra- to interannual variability of the oceanic circulation and the water mass structure in the southern and central subpolar North Atlantic. In total 104 cast were made during the period from May 17 to June 15, 2019. The data have been processed with LDEO Software Version IX-13.
