Transcriptomic and prokaryotic dynamics of four genets of outplanted Acropora palmata at three reef sites in the Florida Keys over a year period.

These samples were used to identify how genet identity, reef location and time of year influenced the transcriptomic, and the prokaryotic (Bacteria and Archaea) dynamics of outplanted genets of the critically endangered branching coral Acropora palmata. With coral conservation increasing volume of outplanted corals on the reefs, understanding how different abiotic variables influence outplanted coral biology and survival is paramount.
