Climate data and velocity of the Äußeres Hochebenkar (Ötztal, Tyrolian Alps, Austria)

The rock glacier 'Äußeres Hochebenkar' is subject to serveral long monitoring programs. The velocity measurements started as early as 1938, which is the longest time series of velocity records on a rock glacier world-wide. In the Diploma thesis of Britta Schneider the history of research at Äußeres Hochebenkar is summarize together with the most prominent results.
