Responsible Data Sharing: Open Science and Personal Data

DOI

Open Science is a collaborative framework that fosters transparency to increase trustworthiness of the scholarly output. Open Data is one way to maximize the value of research efforts by facilitating verification and replication (where applicable), optimizing costs, and reducing participant burden. In this session concrete actions to achieve responsible data sharing will be discussed, including data sharing plans in informed consent forms and appropriate procedures for data anonymization or restricted access.
