The data belongs to the article titled “Environmental impacts of reducing medication waste by redispensing unused oral anticancer drugs: a life cycle assessment”. For the life cycle assessment, life cycle inventory data is collected. The data stored here are the life cycle inventory tables used to calculate the environmental impacts of quality assurance materials, and OAD packaging. The first file contains the inventory for the main scenarios as described in the article. The second file contains inventory data for a scenario with solvent recovery and an alternative reaction pathway for temozolomide. Additionally, the SPSS syntax used to calculate the environmental impacts per patient per year, based on the one-year multicentre trial is included. In the syntax, different values for API production can be manually adjusted. Specific API production impacts are mentioned in the Supplementary Material of the manuscript.
