The data set consist of counts of insects (different groups) by visual inspection and by frappage on different insectary plant species. The different groups of insects are herbivore, predators and parasitoids. The predators count used in the manuscript were identified as Aeolothripidae, Araneae, Chrysopidae, Coccinellidae, Dicyphini tribe and Orius spp. The parasitoid individuals collected were identified at family level. The relation between the abundance of each group of natural enemies (predators and parasitoids) is related with each insectary plant species. This data will help to decide what and when each insectary plant species might help with the establishment of the natural enemies in mediterranean horticultural crops. This data was collected from May to October of 2017 by Carme Denis and the IRTA team in IRTA orchard facilities.
In one excel file you can find the counts of all predators and parasitoids (raw data Floretes) and in the other file (raw data parasitoids) we have the identification at famialy level of the parasitoids collected.
