This table presents the result of the paleoclimate and paleo-environmental reconstructions inferred from the pollen of the Aral 86 sediment core. The sediment core is divided in core depth (in m) and using an age-depth model the calendar age of each sample (in ka BP) was calculated. The climate reconstructions are Mean Annual Precipitation (MAP), Mean Temperature of Cold Quarter (MTCOQ), Mean Precipitation of Cold Quarter (MPCOQ), and the Aridity Index (AI). Different methods have been used to infer these climate parameters: the Modern Analogue Technique (MAT) and the Boosted Regression Trees (BRT) from two different datasets, the Arid Central Asian Data Base (ACADB, Dugerdil et al. (2025a)) and the TUSDB. The community-weighted mean (CWM) traits were also reconstructed (plant height, leaf area, leaf N, seed mass, SLA and SSD) and the pollen-based biomes derived from the biomization approach.
