Dataset supporting the article "Ecological drivers and phylogenetic patterns of leaf minimum conductance variability in vascular plants". Published in New Phytologist. Article acceptance date: 18 March 2026. Dataset of leaf structure and hydraulic conductance of 101 species of vascular plants. Taxonomy, phenology, growth form and stomatal distribution information is available. The dataset includes measurements of minimum leaf conductance along with other associated leaf functional traits. Stomatal anatomy traits are available for 87 species, and derived theoretical conductance values are included. Dataset results from species-averaged values. Raw datasets with measurements per individual samples are available upon request to the correspondence author. A description of the variables included in the dataset is provided in the description file.
