Skyrmion lattice: magnetic structure, distortion and destruction

DOI

We wish to investigate a set of peculiar features found in the new Skyrmion lattice compound Cu2OSeO3. Notably, we observed strong higher order peaks there, which may enable a determination of field distributions (i.e. the magnetic structure) within the Skyrmion phase. In our preliminary datasets we have seen the higher-order peaks grow at the zone boundary, which may provide us a clue on the destruction process of the skyrmion lattice.
