Poly-A selected metatranscriptome samples from the SCOPE-Gradients 3 expedition (km1906). Duplicate samples of ~8-10 liters seawater were collected in the North Pacific in April 2019 from CTD depth profiles. Depths sampled: 15m, DCM, and either 75m or 125m (DCM was at 130m at 32.9 N, 55m at 37 N, 50m at 41.7 N, and 41m at 42.3 N). Samples were pre-filtered through a 100 micron mesh and collected onto 0.2 micron polycarbonate filters.
