RNASeq data from multiple SCTLD health states of Montastraea cavernosa from a natural reef environment in the US Virgin Islands

This study aims to classify the gene expression profiles associated with various SCTLD health states in a principal reef-building coral, Montastraea cavernosa. Three tissues were collected for RNASeq: healthy tissue on a healthy colony (HH), healthy tissue on a diseased colony (HD), and lesion tissue from a diseased colony (LD). All samples were collected from natural reef environments in the United States Virgin Islands in February of 2020.
