FLEXPART is used to calculate a 10 day emission sensitivity for two dust particle size bins one representative of fine dust ~ 2um and one representative of super-coarse dust 2um. The emission sensitivity is combined with corresponding dust emission inventory calculated by FLEXDUST.

The FLEXPART and FLEXDUST simulations are forced by ERA5 ECWMF reanalysis.

The files contain the 10day emissions sensitivity and source contribution. At 3 hourly temporal resolution both along the backward and forward time dimension. The spatial resolution is 0.1x0.1 degrees.

The FLEXPART source contribution data is uploaded in .zarr format which is a is a file storage format for chunked, compressed, N-dimensional arrays based on an open-source specification.
