The research project associated with this dataset delves into the dynamics of the "Stop Gaming" subreddit, where individuals share their personal experiences with gaming addiction, seek guidance, and engage with others facing similar challenges. The dataset comprises information about each post on the subreddit, including the post's title, the author's name, date and time of posting, its score, the number of comments it received, the text of the comments, and the respective authors of those comments.The purpose of the project is to recognize and categorize users on the "Stop Gaming" subreddit according to the stages of change as outlined in The Transtheoretical Model (TTM) of Change, which include precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, and maintenance. To enhance our understanding and categorization of users within these stages, we will apply topic modeling, specifically Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). This approach will allow us to connect specific topics and themes discussed within the subreddit with each stage of change.
