All analytical data were attained from a sediment core taken in Übeschisee (46°44′ 04'' N, 07°33′ 54'' E, 641 m.a.s.l.); a shallow (17.7 m deep) kettle hole lake on the Swiss plateau. The data was collected to get a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between, algal communities, anoxia, temperature and total trophic productivity. The table contains all XRF measurements on sediment accompanying Schmidhauser et al., 2026 (in prep). XRF data were measured between October 2023-June 2024 on UBE22-1e, using an ITRAX xrf scanner. The age spans 17 ka BP - 10 ka BP. The age - depth relationship is established by bayesian modeling of 9 14C dates, 1 tephra and 5 biostratigraphical markers.
