The dataset contains all data extractions (CMO configurations) and following data analysis used for the research described by Thijssen and collegues.The paper describes and explains the outcomes of community dementia friendly initiatives (DFIs) for people with dementia and their caregivers to inform the development and tailoring of DFIs. DFIs are activities that aim to promote dignity, empowerment, engagement and autonomy to enable the wellbeing of people with dementia and the needs of their caregivers throughout the dementia trajectory. A rapid realist review review was conducted between April 2018 and November 2019. The description of the methodology reports the data extraction and data synthesis.
