Dataset for: Disentangling Public Perceptions to Pave the Way for Pollinator-Friendly Roadsides

DOI

PFR dataset #1

This dataset comprises responses from 1,011 Florida residents collected through a structured survey aimed at understanding public perceptions of pollinator-friendly roadside landscapes. It includes demographic data, perceived and actual knowledge, importance ratings of roadside features, concerns about ecological and safety impacts, affective attitudes, and preferences for communication methods. The data support segmentation and analysis for conservation outreach, policy development, and behavioral research. Variables are coded using Likert scales, semantic differentials, and categorical formats, with quota sampling ensuring demographic representation.
