Replication Data for: "Electrospun fibres with axially polarized ferroelectric nematic core"

DOI

Original measurement data to the paper "Electrospun fibres with axially polarized ferroelectric nematic core" (DOI: https://doi.org/10.21203/rs.3.rs-8902071/v1). With these raw data the figures 4, 6, 7 and the SI were created and the results discussed for the paper. Fig 4 and Fig S1 were recorded in a polarized optical microscope with and without full-wave retarder for the proof of liquid crystal inside the spun fiber; Fig 6 were recorded with a scanning electron microscope for higher resolution of the spun fibers; and Fig 7 was characterized by second harmonic generation at different angles and a whole spectrum to check for polar order inside the fiber core. Video S2 shows the orignial setup and spinning process of the manifactured fibers.
