This dataset supports a study aimed at developing a conceptual and methodological framework for the systemic integration of ethics and sustainability into institutional accreditation in higher education. The data were generated through a three-stage conceptual design: a critical review of theoretical foundations and international benchmarks, a comparative analysis of AQU Catalunya's institutional accreditation framework against selected international accreditation models, and the development of a context-sensitive proposal aligned with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). The dataset includes: (Table III) a multidimensional framework linking institutional dimensions, evidence, and indicators for ethics and sustainability assessment; (Table IV) a theory-based self-assessment rubric designed to evaluate the integration of ethics and sustainability within higher education institutional accreditation processes, developed as the principal outcome of the study; (Table A) an overview of the accreditation frameworks analysed and their treatment of ethics and sustainability; (Table B) a comparative analysis of evidence related to ethics and institutional sustainability across accreditation models; (Table C) a comparison of indicators used to assess ethics and sustainability in different accreditation systems; (Table D) a mapping of ethics and sustainability assessment criteria across institutional quality dimensions; and (Table E) a methodological traceability matrix linking source documents, theoretical foundations, and rubric construction. The materials provide a foundation for understanding how ethics, sustainability, institutional integrity, and emerging challenges such as AI ethics can be incorporated into institutional accreditation systems. They are intended to support accreditation agencies, policymakers, and higher education institutions in strengthening accountability, institutional integrity, and sustainable quality assurance practices
