This file contains the raw data on the biostratigraphy for IODP Site U1463 with presence of specific species per sample as well as the preservation and ID-reliability for the samples and species.

1 Preservation is always based on the 250-400 µm fraction; p = poor, pm = poor-medium, m = medium; mg = medium-good, g = good, vg = very good.2 Species with common presence since the beginning of the Pliocene were only marked during the later part of their occurrence, e.g. G. extremus or G. woodi.ID reliability flagging indicate species not considered (1), with unsure ID (2), or with confirmed ID (3).
